Vintage Retro MCM Teak Rosewood Danish Style Sideboard 1960
This beautiful sideboard was designed in the mid-twentieth century by Elliots Of Newbury for Royal Heritage Furniture.
EON has been known for years for its solid construction and excellent design.
The desirable piece features a spacious double cabinet single cabinet and three drawers.
The piece has a beautiful Scandinavian inspired design with its striking Zebrano front and beautiful afrormosia top and sides with fantastic rosewood veneered drawers and handles giving it a very high quality feel. The sideboard has a beautiful grain and striking sleek tones.
Both stylish and functional, this beautiful piece would make a wonderful addition to any home.
A very desirable piece, in very good restored condition, there may be some minor polishing marks as to be expected, see photos for more details.
The company was founded in 1870 by Samuel Elliott as a joinery company, Elliott's Molding and Joinery Company Ltd. It produced ammunition boxes during World War I, made by a workforce that was 90% female. After the war, it switched to furniture production. Due to the relatively short production time, Elliots of Newbury pieces are highly sought after.
