About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This elegant chaise longue is designed in the iconic LC4 style, featuring a striking combination of black leather and tubular metal. The silhouette pays homage to the canonical resting chair of the modernist movement, offering a seamless blend of geometric precision and ergonomic comfort.
Constructed with a polished chrome tubular frame, the seat rests on a sturdy black metal base that allows for adjustable positioning. The upholstery is crafted from supple black leather, complete with a matching cylindrical headrest for optimal support. The continuous, curved form mirrors the natural contours of the body, a hallmark of early twentieth-century functionalist design. The contrast between the reflective silver-toned metal and the deep black leather creates a sophisticated visual dynamic.
The chaise longue remains in great overall condition, with the leather retaining its soft texture and deep colour. The chrome framework is bright and structurally sound, showing careful preservation over time. The adjustable mechanism functions smoothly, allowing the piece to be tailored to individual resting preferences.
This piece serves as a striking focal point in contemporary living spaces, reading nooks, or private studies. Its architectural lines pair exceptionally well with minimalist interiors, industrial lofts, or mid-century modern environments, providing both a sculptural element and a dedicated space for relaxation.
