Architectural coffee table designed by James Brown for T.H. Brown, Australia, in the second half of the 20th century. The table features a clear glass top resting on a sculptural teak wood base. The base is composed of elegantly curved teak elements that create a strong yet refined silhouette, characteristic of Australian mid-century modern design. The warm tone of the teak contrasts beautifully with the clean transparency of the glass, resulting in a timeless and visually balanced piece. This design combines functionality with sculptural presence and integrates seamlessly into mid-century modern, contemporary, or eclectic interiors. Condition Good vintage condition with minor signs of use consistent with age. The glass top shows no cracks or chips and only very light surface scratches consistent with normal use.
