Product description
Refined Davenport lectern desk, crafted from mahogany with a high-gloss finish. A piece of furniture that combines the charm of Victorian style with the functionality of a 1980s modern piece.
Features and Construction Details:
Writing Top: Sloped surface with a central insert in red leather with gold trim, ideal for writing or resting a laptop.
Upper Compartment (Pen Holder): Upper shelf with decorative perforated railing; the lid lifts to reveal a compartment organized for small items and stationery.
Main Compartment: The hinged lectern top opens to reveal a large document compartment that conceals two additional solid wood drawers with brass knobs.
Side Drawers:
Right side: Four deep, solid drawers with burnished brass pendant handles.
Left side: 4 "fake" drawers (blind fronts) to maintain perfect aesthetic symmetry.
Base and Mobility: Finely contoured trestle structure, resting on original casters for easy movement despite the solidity of the piece.
Condition:
The red leather shows only signs of wear.
