About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is the Mirage swivel armchair by the Dutch design house Eichholtz, presented in a tactile, textured upholstery. The design is defined by its distinctive shell-shaped backrest, which provides an enveloping and sculptural silhouette, referencing glamorous styles of the past.
The armchair is upholstered in a cream-coloured faux shearling fabric, offering both visual and textural softness. It is mounted on a functional swivel base with a brushed brass finish, which introduces a warm metallic accent to the piece. The construction features a series of channel-tufted segments that form the scalloped back, creating a comfortable and supportive seat.
This particular chair is in a well-preserved condition, showing minimal signs of use. The upholstery remains clean and full, and the swivel mechanism functions smoothly. The brushed brass base is intact and maintains its intended finish, contributing to the chair's overall polished appearance.
With its combination of soft texture and metallic sheen, this armchair serves as an elegant accent piece suitable for a variety of interior settings. It would integrate seamlessly into a living room, bedroom, or study with a Hollywood Regency, Art Deco, or contemporary design scheme.
