About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is the iconic Garden Egg Chair, designed by Peter Ghyczy in 1968. This striking design is a classic example of Space Age furniture and combines functionality with a futuristic aesthetic.
The chair is crafted from white plastic and features a distinctive, egg-shaped shell that can be opened and closed. Inside, there is a comfortable black fabric cushion that contrasts with the smooth, light exterior. The design is not only visually appealing but also practical, as the enclosed shape protects the chair from the elements when used outdoors.
The item is in good condition commensurate with its age and use. The original finish and character of the design have been well preserved.
This Garden Egg Chair is a versatile piece of furniture that can be placed both indoors and outdoors. It fits perfectly into a modern, eclectic, or vintage-inspired interior and makes a striking focal point in any room or garden.
