Egg Chair – Arne Jacobsen – Fritz Hansen Edition 1959 – Fully Restored – Exceptional Condition
An absolute icon of 20th-century Scandinavian design, the Egg Chair, designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1958 for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen, is today one of the most emblematic pieces of modern furniture.
Produced by Fritz Hansen, this original example has recently undergone a complete professional restoration:
– Structure inspected
– Foam replaced
– New high-end upholstery (Kvadrat virgin wool)
– Swivel aluminum star base overhauled
The chair is now in near-new condition, while retaining the authenticity and value of an original piece.
Its vibrant, elegant, and decidedly mid-century orange hue enhances its sculptural lines, making it a striking piece in both a contemporary interior and a designer collection.
Height: 107 cm
Width: 89 cm
Depth: 80 cm
Highly sought after by design enthusiasts and decorators, the Egg Chair is one of the rare armchairs whose value continues to rise.
A fully restored original is now a true design investment, as well as an object of exceptional comfort.
