This rug, titled "Genesis", is a design by Edel Skov for the Danish manufacturer Ege Axminster. It is part of the 20th Century Masters Collection, a series that brings together art and textile design in high-quality interior objects.
The rug is made of 100% pure virgin wool, ensuring a rich texture and durability. The design is characterized by an expressive, abstract pattern in a vibrant palette of red, purple, blue, green, and orange. The dimensions are 183 cm in width and 275 cm in length, as stated on the original label on the back, which also confirms the authenticity and the production date of 1990.
The object is in good, stain-free, and original condition, retaining the original color intensity and pile structure. Slight wear is visible on one edge (see photo 7). The original factory label is present and legible.
This colorful floor artwork makes a powerful statement in a modern or eclectic interior.
