About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This dining table, designed by Gerard van den Berg, combines a robust character with a sleek, architectural design. The design is characterized by powerful lines and the use of contrasting materials, resulting in a timeless piece of furniture that draws attention in the room. The table is crafted with a sturdy wooden base, finished in a light shade with a visible, layered structure. The rectangular tabletop features a metal top layer in a grey colour scheme, providing an industrial accent. The combination of the light wood and the cool metal creates a captivating visual contrast. The generous dimensions offer ample space for elaborate dinners or as a spacious workspace. The furniture is in good condition, commensurate with its age and use. Over the years, the metal top has developed an authentic patina, contributing to the table's industrial appearance. The wooden base displays characteristic wear that emphasizes the layering of the material. This Gerard van den Berg dining table comes into its own perfectly in a modern or industrial interior. The robust design forms a strong focal point in the dining room and combines well with both sleek, modern dining chairs and more eclectic seating.
