Product description
Elegant Executive Chair by Eero Saarinen for Knoll International with a sculpturally shaped seat shell and a filigree tubular steel frame. The iconic design is one of the most famous seating furniture of American Mid-Century Design and combines organic lines with functional clarity. Particularly characteristic is the softly curved backrest with a side opening, which gives the chair its light and almost floating appearance.
The strong red fabric cover sets a striking accent and harmonizes with the chrome-plated frame in the typical style of the 1960s. The softly padded seat shell offers high seating comfort and underlines the high-quality workmanship of the design. On the underside are original labels from Roche Basel and Wohnbedarf Basel, two important Swiss distribution houses for modern design classics.
Condition: Good vintage condition with age-related signs of wear, slight signs of wear on the chrome frame and minimal traces on the fabric cover.
