Product description
This is an authentic ceramic vase, manufactured by the Dutch pottery factory Tiko from Gouda. The piece is a representative example of the Gouda earthenware tradition, recognizable by the combination of deep colors and refined decoration.
The vase is made of high-quality ceramic and has a distinctive shape with a flared neck and a stable base. The palette is dominated by a deep cobalt blue on the rim and base, which forms an elegant contrast with the lighter colored, ribbed body of the vase. The entire piece is hand-decorated with gold-colored floral motifs and accents, lending a subtle luxury to the design. The underside is marked with 'Tiko', 'Gouda-Holland' and the model number '343'.
The overall condition of the vase is excellent, in accordance with its age. The glaze has retained its original luster and the golden decorations are clear and largely intact, testifying to careful preservation over the years.
