Product description
This elegant Edwardian waste paper basket is crafted from mahogany and finely woven cane, showcasing the quality craftsmanship of the early 20th century. The gently tapering form is complemented by carved vertical supports and subtle decorative details around the rim and base, giving the piece a balanced and timeless appearance.
The open canework creates a light and airy design while adding warmth and texture to the rich mahogany frame. Raised on small bun feet, the basket has an elegant presence and is suitable not only as a waste paper basket, but also as a decorative storage piece for magazines, knitting supplies or other household items.
Please note that one of the interior wooden support panels is missing. As this element is concealed from view and does not affect the structure, stability or normal use of the basket, it has very little impact on its overall appearance.
