Product description
An exceptional seating group by the renowned Italian design house Edra, comprising the iconic three-seater Standard sofa and two matching Chiara armchairs. All three pieces share the same deep anthracite grey textured upholstery, creating a cohesive and sophisticated ensemble that combines sculptural elegance with exceptional comfort. Designed by Francesco Binfaré, Edra furniture is celebrated for its innovative approach to contemporary living, bringing together expressive forms, advanced comfort and refined Italian craftsmanship. This complete seating set captures that distinctive design philosophy, offering a striking centrepiece for a contemporary living room, an elegant lounge or a sophisticated interior. The Standard Sofa The iconic three-seater Standard sofa is distinguished by its generous proportions, soft sculptural silhouette and innovative Smart Cushions. These individually adjustable cushions can be moulded into different positions to create personalised backrests and armrests, allowing the sofa to adapt to different seating preferences and ways of relaxing. This combination of flexibility, comfort and expressive design has made the Standard sofa one of Edra’s most recognisable creations. The Chiara Armchairs The two matching Chiara armchairs complement the sofa with their distinctive, dynamic silhouettes, generous upholstered seats and elegant polished chrome swivel bases. Their sculptural forms provide both visual presence and inviting comfort, while the swivel mechanism allows for effortless movement and a more flexible seating arrangement. Material, Colour & Condition: All three pieces are upholstered in a rich, dark anthracite grey textured fabric, with a subtle surface pattern that adds depth and character to the material. The consistent upholstery and colour palette unify the set beautifully, while the polished metal bases of the armchairs provide a refined contrast to the darker fabric. The entire set is in exceptional, near-new condition. The pieces have been used only a handful of times, and the upholstery remains in excellent condition, with no noticeable signs of use. The fabric retains its original appearance and texture, and the armchairs’ polished metal bases complement the overall presentation. Set Includes - 1 × Edra Standard three-seater sofa - 2 × Edra Chiara armchairs with chrome swivel bases - Matching anthracite grey textured fabric upholstery on all three pieces Authenticity & Documentation The armchairs feature the Edra branding and the engraved model marking “mod. CHIARA”, which are visible in the listing photographs. The original invoice and purchase documents are no longer available; this is disclosed transparently. A Complete Designer Ensemble Offered together, these three pieces create a distinctive and harmonious seating arrangement. Their sculptural presence and understated anthracite palette work particularly well in modern, minimalist and contemporary interiors, pairing naturally with glass, metal, stone and natural wood. This is an opportunity to acquire a coordinated Edra seating group in exceptionally well-preserved condition, combining iconic Italian design, innovative comfort and timeless visual appeal.
