Product description
Iconic early Tulip coffee table, designed by Eero Saarinen for Knoll International in the 1950s.
This early example (end 50's) features a round white Carrara marble top with refined grey veining, combined with the characteristic white lacquered aluminum pedestal base.
The table is marked underneath the base (see photos), confirming its authenticity as an original early Knoll International production.
As one of the most influential designs of the mid-century modern movement, Saarinen’s Tulip table is celebrated for its sculptural clarity and timeless appeal.
Condition:
Good vintage condition, especially considering its age. Minor wear and a soft patina consistent with an early original from the 1950s. The Carrara marble top is in very nice condition; the base remains sturdy and stable.
A rare early example and a highly collectible design classic, ideal for discerning collectors and design interiors.
