Product description
Original hand-printed linocut of a traditional Dutch windmill surrounded by tulip fields, printed in warm terracotta ink. Bold expressive lines suggest the wind and movement of a true Dutch landscape. Every print is unique - the natural marks of the tools make each piece one of a kind.
Limited edition - only 50 prints.
Sheet size: A4 - 21×29.7 cm (8.3×11.7 in)
Paper- your choice:
- Heavy watercolour paper 300 gsm
- Handmade paper with natural deckled, uneven edges (looks especially beautiful when framed)
Sold unframed. Ships flat in protective packaging.
How it's made:
The design is transferred onto linoleum and hand-carved using specialist tools. Ink is applied with a roller, the paper is placed on top and pressed by hand using a burnishing tool. Each print carries the natural texture and energy of the hand.
Please note: colours may vary slightly depending on your monitor settings. In person the terracotta is deep, rich and warm.
