An antique Dutch secretaire, crafted from solid oak wood around the mid-19th century. This piece of furniture elegantly combines a storage cabinet with a functional desk, characterized by its classic and robust design. The secretaire originates from the Netherlands and dates from approximately 1850. With a height of 150 cm, a width of 100 cm, and a depth of 46 cm, the furniture offers significant storage space. Behind the writing flap, which is inlaid with green felt, there is an interior with various small drawers and compartments for organizing documents and stationery. The lower cabinet has two doors, and at the top, there is a wide drawer. The furniture is in good condition consistent with its age, with a lived-in patina that enhances the character of the old oak wood. The original construction and finish have largely been preserved, contributing to its authentic appearance.
