This pendant lamp is a characteristic example of Dutch Design, produced by Pola International Amsterdam in the 1990s. The design combines a minimalist aesthetic with industrial elements, resulting in a timeless lighting object. The lamp is crafted from a clear glass cylinder enclosing the light source, combined with metal fixtures in a silver-colored finish. The construction displays technical details, such as the screws and the socket, contributing to its industrial character. The original label from Pola International BV Amsterdam is still present on the inside of the ceiling rose, listing the specifications (230V, 75 Watt).
The object is in good condition, commensurate with its age and use. The materials have retained their original character, with the metal displaying a light, natural patina that emphasizes the authenticity of the piece.
This pendant lamp comes into its own perfectly in a modern, industrial, or minimalist interior. The design is particularly suitable for placement above a dining table, a kitchen island, or in a hallway, where it offers both functional light and a subtle design statement.
When shipped, the item will be carefully packed to prevent damage.
