Product description
Superb duo of traditional Alsace wine glasses,
called "Roemer" (or Römer) glasses, manufactured in
France by the famous Luminarc crystal factory during
the 1970s / 1980s.
This rare pair stands out from the classic green version
with its sumptuous base tinted with a particularly warm
honey amber (or orange ochre) color, which
magnificently captures the light. Each glass features
a large flared bowl (drinking part) made of transparent
blown glass, mounted on a robust leg with superimposed
rings (ringed foot), very architectural,
ending in a flared base.
A high-end and uncommon variant of Rhenish tableware,
ideal for bringing a touch of retro elegance, prestige,
and originality to your table settings.
Features:
• Model: Roemer (Amber base variant)
• Manufacturer: Type Luminarc / Arc
• Period: Circa 1970-1980
• Dimensions: Height 14 cm | Bowl diameter 8 cm
• Condition: Splendid vintage condition.
The glass has perfect transparency and mirror-like
brilliance, without any cracks or chips.
