Product description
Splendid and very refined duo of souvenir vases
from the vintage era, crafted in Switzerland by the illustrious
fine porcelain manufacturer Cottier Frères in
Geneva during the 1950s / 1960s.
This coordinated set consists of a small urn-shaped vase
with a polylobed neck and a charming miniature water pitcher
(ewer) with a slender handle. Each piece
features a rich hand-painted floral decoration,
showcasing bouquets of wild and alpine flowers
in vibrant colors. The necks and bases are
enhanced by delicate gilding
with fine gold leaf.
The larger vase bears the nominative inscription
gilded "Brienz", recalling the Swiss tradition
of high-end tourist display porcelains.
The reverse of each piece features its official
original circular stamp embossed in gold:
"Cottier Frères Genève Switzerland". A high-quality set,
ideal for decorating a retro piece of furniture or
joining a display collection.
