About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This set consists of a porcelain bowl and plate, signed Villeroy & Boch. It is a modern reinterpretation of a classic, belonging to the New Wave Acapulco collection, which merges the contemporary form of the New Wave range with the iconic Acapulco motif from the 1970s.
Made from high-quality fine porcelain, these pieces are distinguished by their asymmetrical square shape and wavy edges. The decor, inspired by an original Mexican design, features stylized birds and flowers in a vibrant color palette including blue, orange, red, and green on a brilliant white background. The bowl was manufactured in Germany, while the plate comes from Luxembourg, as indicated by the hallmarks on the back.
The overall condition of this set is excellent, showing no visible signs of wear. The glaze is intact, and the colors of the decor retain all their original vibrancy, testifying to quality craftsmanship and particular care.
This duo is perfect for serving appetizers, desserts, or snacks with a distinctive design touch. It fits equally well into a modern interior or a Mid-Century inspired decor, bringing a touch of color and originality to any table.
