This cup and saucer set was designed by Axel Brüel for the Danish manufacturer Lyngby-Danild. The "Blå Dråbe" (Blue Drop) pattern, designed in 1958, is distinguished by its graphic motif, emblematic of mid-century Scandinavian design. Made of white porcelain, this set is decorated with a repeating pattern of stylized drops in shades of blue and gray. The set includes two cups, each 7 cm high and 7.5 cm in diameter, accompanied by matching saucers (13.5 cm in diameter) and dessert plates (17 cm in diameter). The pieces bear the manufacturer's mark on the base, attesting to their Danish origin. The set is in excellent condition, reflecting careful use over the decades.
