Product description
Decorative two-handled Vase in flamed glazed ceramic, characterized by a generous silhouette and a rich autumnal palette, from Dümler & Breiden.
Its ovoid body extends into a constricted neck and a slightly wavy flared rim. Two molded scroll handles frame the composition. On the glossy mahogany brown background, amber yellow and orange vertical patterns unfold, accompanied by grey-brown and olive green drips that make each side noticeably different.
The shape and glaze treatment are part of the aesthetic of Art Deco and mid-20th century decorative ceramics. No manufacturer's stamp, however, the underside bears the embossed numbers "1110" and "19", and this model is referenced in their collections.

Good general vintage condition. The enamel shows fine crazing, small firing irregularities.
