High-end Mid-Century Modern and Fat Lava ceramics. This original West German design vase was produced in the 1970s by Dümler & Breiden. The model belongs to the sought-after 'Relief' series and immediately stands out due to its stylish, flattened organic shape with the characteristic wavy fish-mouth opening. The vase is finished in the "Polar" decor, which symbolizes a winter polar landscape and the Northern Lights. The glaze consists of a rough, volcanic black base that transitions into a vibrant, glossy emerald green/turquoise band, beautifully topped with a thick, foamy, snow-white lava glaze layer.
