DuBois & Fils Chronograph DBF001-03 22/99 WITNESS TO A NEW CHAPTER This high-end chronograph was first unveiled in 2013. Through a large-scale crowdfunding campaign, anyone interested could become part of Switzerland's oldest watch manufacturer by purchasing shares. The DBF001 thus embodies tradition, innovation, and exclusivity, with a strictly limited collection. DuBois & Fils watches are limited to 99 pieces each. LARGE DATE CHRONOGRAPH AND METICULOUS ATTENTION TO DETAIL The DBF001's dial is highly elaborate and features three distinct levels. The numerals are individually hand-set on the dial. The large date mechanism consists of two discs. The case is composed of five separate parts, all screwed together. This complex manufacturing process allows for exceptionally high quality in the alternating polished and satin finishes. One of the distinctive features of DuBois et fils watches is the screws on the case back. They are adorned with the outline of the brand's logo, the fir tree. This small manufacture was founded in 1902 in Le Lieu, in the Vallée de Joux, and specializes in complicated watch movements. Dubois-Dépraz, for example, developed a wristwatch movement with a 5-minute repeater in 1975.
