A set of three ceramic jugs, designed by Kurt Tschoerner for the West German manufacturer Ruscha. These pieces are representative of influential mid-20th century ceramic design. This is the iconic model 313, characterized by its spherical body and elegantly curved, high-set handle that seamlessly transitions into the spout.
Each jug in this trio is crafted from ceramic and displays a unique glaze finish, typical of Ruscha's experimental approach. The set consists of variants in earthy tones, ranging from sandy beige to deep, mottled brown and black, with textures reminiscent of volcanic rock. The undersides are marked with the model number 313, confirming authenticity. These pieces were produced in West Germany.
The overall condition of the set is excellent, retaining the original colors and textures of the glaze. The jugs show a character consistent with their age and bear the marks of their artisanal production process. The integrity of each jug is completely intact, without restorations.
