Product description
This rare vintage sideboard Type 602/K is an absolute masterpiece by Bauhaus designer Franz Ehrlich, designed in the late 50s/early 60s for the high-quality furniture factory VEB Deutsche Werkstätten Hellerau. This model was so popular at the time that high-end West German interior design houses like Rincklake van Endert imported these cabinets for their customers. The left side features four iconic drawers with organically curved wooden 'wave drawers' handles.
The top drawer is lockable, but unfortunately, the key is missing. The right side offers ample storage space behind two smoothly running sliding doors with inlaid handles. The sideboard features a warm wood veneer with a continuous grain. The furniture stands on metal legs.
Still in good condition, consistent with its age.
