Private sellerProduct description
This sideboard is a refined piece of Danish furniture design by Henry Rosengren Hansen for the manufacturer Brande Møbelindustri. It is the iconic Model 38 from 1958, a design praised for its balanced proportions and functional elegance.
The furniture is entirely crafted from teak wood, valued for its warm, deep color and lively grain pattern. The construction demonstrates superior craftsmanship, with details such as dovetail joints in the five drawers on the right side. On the left, two smoothly running sliding doors provide access to an interior with adjustable shelves and various felt-lined pull-out trays, ensuring versatile storage space. Its authenticity is confirmed by the 'Made in Denmark' stamp from Brande Møbelindustri.
The sideboard is in very good condition, consistent with its age. The original finish has been well preserved and has developed an authentic and warm patina over the years. The structural integrity of the furniture is excellent, making it immediately ready for use.
With its timeless aesthetic and practical layout, this sideboard is a stylish addition to a dining or living room. The piece of furniture fits seamlessly into an interior with a Scandinavian, Mid-Century Modern, or eclectic decor.
