Two twin bowls made of speckled beige stoneware, joined into a single piece by a central, hand-sculpted mushroom-shaped handle. On each side, the words "Sel" (Salt) and "Poivre" (Pepper) are written in brown cursive letters, with a fluid and confident stroke, as if writing a letter to a loved one. The off-white, slightly granular clay is dotted with small brownish specks, giving it that rustic and warm character typical of French artisanal stoneware from the 1960s-1980s. The matte glaze absorbs light without reflecting it, lending the piece a soft and discreet presence on the table. Both functional and decorative, this table accessory naturally integrates into a distinctive kitchen, a raw wood table, or a shelf where it will sit alongside other antique stoneware pieces. Width: approximately 14 cm. Height with handle: approximately 8 cm. Very good condition.
