Product description
This is a porcelain box, designed by M. Frey for the West German manufacturer Kaiser Porzellan. The piece is part of a collectible series dedicated to the signs of the zodiac, in this case Libra, which makes it a personal and thoughtful object.
The box is made of white porcelain and plays with textures: the square base is glossy glazed, while the lid is made of matte bisque porcelain. The lid is decorated with a figure in a meditative pose, the astrological symbol for Libra, and the corresponding dates. The bottom is marked with the blue Kaiser crown logo, 'W. Germany', the designer's signature, and model number 684.
The object is in exceptional condition and retains its original finish. This decorative box is ideal for storing small jewelry or other precious trinkets. It adds a subtle and refined accent to a dresser, nightstand, or in a display cabinet within a vintage or eclectic interior.
