Exceptional and rare Artist Proof (A.P.) by the internationally renowned Belgian conceptual artist Guillaume Bijl, associated with his major installation “Documenta Wax Museum”, part of the series The History of Documenta. This large-format work (63 x 108 cm) is hand-signed by the artist in pencil and marked as A.P. (Artist Proof), making it significantly attractive and collectible: “AP Signed Guillaume Bijl”. The work refers to Bijl’s well-known series “Cultural-Tourist Installations”, in which he critically and humorously explores the relationship between art, mass culture, tourism, and institutional presentation.
