Very good condition
The two-seater version: the seat runs in a single piece over 123 cm, the shield-shaped backrest remains detached, and neither the steel frame nor the webbing protrudes under the foam.
Olivier Mourgue designed the Djinn series in 1964-1965 for Airborne, seeking low, light, and easily movable seating. Stanley Kubrick furnished the orbital station in 2001, A Space Odyssey with them: the Djinn played the role of the seat of the future. The armchair from the series has entered the collections of the Centre Pompidou.
Piece entirely re-upholstered in Kvadrat cotton velvet.
