Product description
The "Chincheta" is an iconic coffee table designed by Spanish brothers Sergi and Oscar Devesa for the Catalan brand Disform. The design dates back to 1987 and is inspired by the shape of a pushpin—which also explains its Spanish name: "chincheta."
The table is crafted from a single piece of cast aluminum that has been cut, bent, and lightly textured. The three legs extend elegantly from the top, giving it an almost sculptural appearance.
A rare and distinctive object for lovers of postmodern design.
This coffee table has recently been repainted. Unfortunately, the finish isn't entirely even (see photos). Hence this classic at a bargain price.
