This unique dining table (246 × 110 × 75 cm) is handcrafted from sycamore wood, chosen for its rich character and stability. Finished in a warm Chocolate tone with a durable hard wax oil, the surface is resilient yet natural to the touch. Its clean geometry is balanced by the organic life of the wood — a refined contrast that makes the piece both contemporary and timeless.
The table is an original design from Cokoon Studio, a workshop dedicated to premium, one-off furniture. Every project is carefully engineered and built to last, with attention to joinery, proportion, and enduring finish.
Delivery and installation are free within the Netherlands (other destinations on request).
Caring for Your Wood Furniture
Each piece I create is made from real, solid wood — a natural, living material. Unlike synthetic or mass-produced furniture, wood responds to its environment: it expands and contracts with the seasons, with changes in temperature and humidity. This movement is part of its charm and authenticity.
What to expect
Subtle changes: small cracks, fine lines, or slight warping can occur over time. These are not defects but natural expressions of the wood.
Unique character: no two pieces are ever the same. Variations in grain, tone, and texture are the fingerprints of the tree it once was.
Aging gracefully: with use and care, your furniture will develop a soft patina, telling the story of your home and life around it.
Finish & care
Most of my pieces are finished with hardwax oil, which protects the surface while keeping the natural feel of the wood.
Cleaning: simply wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid aggressive cleaners or chemicals.
Refreshing the finish: with time, the surface may look a little tired. A light reapplication of hardwax oil (or a professional refresh) will restore its warmth and protection.
Daily habits: use coasters for drinks, wipe spills promptly, and avoid prolonged exposure to direct heat or sunlight.
In short: your furniture is built to last — not as a flawless, unchanging object, but as something alive that will grow with you, season after season.
