Dining table set table + 4 chairs by Marta Stama, Poland, 1930s
The chairs and the table were designed by Marta Stam, a Dutch architect and Bauhaus lecturer, and were made at the East Steel Furniture Factory in Zajiel near Żywiec. It is a type of "suspended chairs" - the chair seat looks like it is floating in the air. The concept of the form of chairs is timeless.
The set has undergone professional renovation.
