Product description
Elegant vintage dining set attributed to Gastone Rinaldi for Rima, Padova, Italy, dating from the 1970s. The set consists of a round glass dining table and four matching chrome wire chairs with suede cushions.
This sculptural set is a beautiful example of Italian modernist design, combining airy wire structures with refined chrome finishes. The striking radial base of the table creates a strong architectural presence, while the chairs echo the same rhythmic wire construction, giving the set a cohesive and highly decorative look.
Gastone Rinaldi was a prominent Italian designer known for his innovative metal furniture designs and his work with Rima in Padova. His designs are appreciated for their lightness, structural elegance, and forward-thinking use of industrial materials — all qualities clearly visible in this distinctive dining set.
The warm-toned suede cushions contrast beautifully with the polished chrome frames, adding comfort and visual softness to the otherwise graphic metal structure.
