Product description
Special vintage pendant lamp by the Dutch Dijkstra, from the 1970s. A characteristic Space Age design in which a sculptural glass shade is combined with a geometrically shaped metal core in a brass-colored finish. The wide, amber-yellow glass shade has a flowing, rounded shape and partially encloses the cylindrical metal core. This is equipped with a decorative ring with narrow vertical openings, allowing the light to shine out subtly.
When the lamp is lit, a warm and atmospheric light effect is created. The amber-colored glass spreads a soft golden-yellow glow, while the openings in the metal core create a special play of light and shadow. The combination of transparent colored glass and brass-colored metal gives the lamp an elegant appearance, characteristic of the experimental lighting from the 1970s.
The pendant lamp is in neat vintage condition, with light signs of wear appropriate for its age. The lamp is equipped with new wiring.
Dimensions are as follows: height 30 cm, diameter 41 cm.
