Product description
This special double arc Floor lights by the Dutch Dijkstra Lampen is a beautiful example of the elegant design from the 1970s. The lamp has two gracefully curved chrome arms at different heights, combined with a dark brown stand and a heavy round chrome base. The two cream-colored acrylic shades have a softly rounded shape and spread a pleasant, warm and diffuse light. What makes this Floor lights extra special is its versatile adjustability. Both chrome arcs can be rotated independently, allowing the light points to be positioned in different directions. In addition, the shades are equipped with a knee hinge, allowing them to be tilted up and down. This way, both the position and the light direction of both shades can be adjusted as desired. The combination of the shiny chrome, the warm color of the shades and the slender double arc construction gives the lamp a refined appearance. A striking design that looks beautiful next to a sofa or armchair, but also as a freestanding object in the interior. Condition and electrics The lamp is in exceptionally beautiful vintage condition and has been fully cleaned and polished. The chrome is beautifully preserved and has a nice shine. There are some small, barely noticeable heat deformations in the acrylic shades. The electrics have been technically checked and the lamp is equipped with a new plug and a double foot switch, with which both light points can be switched on and off separately. Both E27 sockets are suitable for LED light sources.
