The fine earthenware from Digoin Sarreguemines, with its slightly warm cream white, embodies the gentle charm of interwar tables, those dinners where people still took the time to lay a beautiful tablecloth and bring out the Sunday best dishes. The wide oval rim is striped with gradient blue bands, from cobalt blue to pale blue, which punctuate the composition with an entirely Art Deco precision. On the immaculate background, small bouquets of polychrome roses, carmine pink and periwinkle blue, are scattered in a quincunx pattern with a calculated nonchalance. A discreet black line runs along the edge, highlighting its outline without weighing it down. A product of the Digoin Sarreguemines manufacture, understated and luminous, which naturally finds its place in an interior where objects have a story.
