Product description
For sale is the iconic Mid-Century Sideboard Model B40, designed in 1957 by Dieter Waeckerlin for Behr International. The B40 impresses with its radically reduced, minimalist design language without visible handles (opening via the handle-free notched top edge and magnetic closures). The furniture stands on a delicate, black lacquered steel frame. Particularly impressive is the fully equipped interior made of light maple wood with the original, pull-out cutlery and crockery drawers (with the typical blue edge accents). Details & Specifications: Designer: Dieter Waeckerlin Manufacturer: Behr International Model: B40 Sideboard / Credenza Design year: 1957 Material: Teak wood (exterior), Maple (interior), Steel frame (black) Dimensions: W 248 cm × D 56 cm × H 70 cm Condition: Excellent, very well-maintained vintage condition with a beautiful patina. The wood is cleanly maintained, the doors close perfectly, and the interior drawers run smoothly. Age-related, minimal signs of wear emphasize authenticity. Shipping & Logistics: Local pickup possible. Whoppah courier approved: Furniture transport can be booked directly at checkout via the Whoppah shipping service.
