About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is the Cuco XL, a striking standing cuckoo clock from the Italian design brand Diamantini & Domeniconi. This piece is a playful and postmodern interpretation of the traditional cuckoo clock, transformed into a sculptural object with a distinct tropical theme.
With a height of 125 centimeters, this XL version is a true statement piece. The construction consists of white lacquered wood, adorned with an abundance of dark green artificial leaves and bright pink flowers. Silhouettes of dancers, guitars, and floral motifs create a layered, three-dimensional composition that functions both as a clock and as an art object. The clock features a battery-powered mechanism with a light sensor that ensures the cuckoo is silent at night.
The overall condition of the clock is excellent, with a fresh and vibrant appearance. The colors are bright and the structure is solid, indicating careful use and preservation of the original design. It is a complete and functional object that showcases the characteristic creativity of contemporary Italian design.
This Cuco XL clock is a perfect addition to an eclectic, modern, or maximalist interior. It can serve as a cheerful and unexpected element in a living room, hallway, or creative space, where it is guaranteed to be a conversation starter.
