About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is a Detjer lounge chair, made of black lacquered wood with a seat and backrest of natural rattan. The design is characterized by its strong, graphic silhouette reminiscent of iconic designs from the mid-20th century.
The chair's frame is constructed from solid wood with a deep black finish, creating a striking contrast with the light, woven rattan. This combination of materials provides a visual balance between robustness and airiness. The chair has a low seat and angled legs, contributing to its relaxed character and modernist appeal.
The overall condition of this lounge chair is excellent and shows no visible signs of wear, consistent with an object that has been barely used. Both the wooden frame and the rattan weave are completely intact and retain their original finish and structure.
Due to its sculptural form and timeless use of materials, this Detjer lounge chair is a versatile piece of furniture. It fits seamlessly into a Scandinavian, minimalist, or eclectic interior and functions both as a comfortable seating option and as an autonomous design object in a living room, bedroom, or study.
