About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This bar cart is a creation by Danish designer Johannes Andersen, dating from the Mid-Century era. Made of solid rosewood, it perfectly illustrates the elegance and functionality of Scandinavian design. The piece stands out for its organic lines and sculptural structure, characteristic of Andersen's work.
Manufactured in Denmark, as evidenced by the Danish furniture manufacturers' control label from Silkeborg, this bar cart is constructed from rosewood with a rich and pronounced grain. It features three levels, offering generous storage and serving space. The intermediate shelf has a black laminate surface, designed to resist heat and liquids, while the original castors ensure easy mobility.
The bar cart is presented in excellent condition, testifying to particular care over the decades. The wood retains its original finish and has developed a warm patina that accentuates the beauty of its grain. The structure is solid and stable, and all components are original.
A versatile piece, it can serve as a mobile bar, a side table, or a serving unit in a living room or dining room. Its timeless aesthetic harmoniously integrates into Mid-Century Modern, Scandinavian, or contemporary interiors, adding a touch of sophistication and design history.
