For sale is an extremely high-quality, four-piece designer seating area from the 70s/80s. It is genuine craftsmanship from a German or Swiss premium manufacturer (e.g., Hans Kaufeld, De Sede, Rolf Benz, Himolla), made from thick, glove-soft genuine leather (nubuck/thick leather) in the timeless shade Cognac/Mell-Brown.
The complete set consists of:
1x 3-seater sofa: Width: 2.03 m | Height: 90 cm | Depth: 80 cm | Seat height: 40 cm
1x 2-seater sofa: Width: 1.42 m | Height: 90 cm | Depth: 80 cm
2x Armchairs: Width: 82 cm | Height: 90 cm | Depth: 80 cm
Quality & Condition: The furniture is incredibly comfortable, softly upholstered, and in a well-maintained, stable original condition. Those who know Kaufeld or De Sede are aware of the uncompromising quality: The seat cushions are completely removable and have wide Velcro strips with leather trim on the underside, so that the cushions remain absolutely non-slip in place. The cushion covers are also equipped with original Opti zippers. The leather has developed an honest vintage patina over the decades. In some heavily used areas (especially on the headrest of an armchair), there are typical darkening and signs of wear for open-pore leather (see detailed pictures). However, the leather has no cracks or open damage. Perfect for lovers of the authentic Mid-Century / Retro look!
