This unique light object "Corail XL" was designed in a Berlin design studio and 3D printed using a computational process.
The pendant lamp is made of a sustainable matte, grey (anthracite) biopolymer based on corn starch and is biodegradable / environmentally friendly according to DIN EN ISO 14588. The material is stable, waterproof and easy to clean.
Every 3D print has a necessary, fine and visible seam that holds the object together.
The design casts a shadow from bottom to top, creating a play of colors (see pictures).
The height of the lamp (without lamp holder) is 190 mm and 220 mm wide. Weight 500 gr.
The cable length is approx. 1 m and adjustable to your desired height.
Every 3D print has a necessary, fine and visible seam that holds the object together.
The lamp delivery includes an E27 lamp holder, a cable and an energy-efficient LED.
