Beautiful high quality vintage vase in deep red glazed ceramic, signed and numbered at the bottom, Fritz van Daalen Keramik no. 4736-35, West Germany 1950s-60s
These van Daalen vases are very scarce and are becoming increasingly difficult to find.
West Germany was actually a collective name for ceramics that came onto the market roughly between 1950 and 1990. Some well-known names are Roth, Carstens, Ruscha, Jopeko, Jasba, Fohr, but the greatest were perhaps Scheurich and Bay.
In very good vintage condition in accordance with its age, light signs of use, such as some superficial scratches, but no cracks or fractures, check the photos for more details!
