About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
Offered is a set of four Brobon chairs, a design by Van den Broecke & Bonnema from 1991. These chairs are a characteristic example of Dutch design from the early nineties, produced in Italy. The design combines a sculptural form with a bold color contrast, resulting in an expressive and memorable seating furniture.
The construction of each chair consists of a black metal tubular frame that forms both the legs and the armrests. The seat is round and upholstered with red skai, while the curved backrest is made of black finished wood. The combination of the sleek metal, the warm wood, and the vibrant upholstery creates a captivating visual whole, typical of the postmodern aesthetic of that period.
The chairs are in good condition, consistent with their age and use. They have retained their original finish and structural integrity, and the overall appearance testifies to the character built up over the years. The set is complete and consistent in appearance.
They still need some cosmetic attention.
This set of design chairs is ideally suited as Dining chairs or as striking accent chairs in a modern or eclectic interior. Their unique silhouette and color scheme make them a statement in any space, from a living room to a creative office environment.
