LAZZURRO By Frans Van Nieuwenborg
Special Dutch design lamp, new in box and directly from designer Frans van Nieuwenborg himself.
The LAZZURRO is a striking light object where not only the fixture, but also the light source is part of the design. The blue glowing gas in the fluorescent tube gives the lamp its characteristic, almost mysterious appearance.
The lamp is made of aluminum and plastic and is equipped with a silent electronic dimmer. Steplessly dimmable to 1% of the light value. The height of the lamp is adjustable.
These are the last 3 copies ever. The LAZZURRO is no longer in production.
The design has been included in the collections of various museums, including the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, Museum De Lakenhal in Leiden, Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen in Rotterdam and the Design Museum in Seoul, Korea.
A special object for lovers and collectors of Dutch design and lighting.
