A Leaf Personal Light desk lamp, designed by Yves Béhar for the American manufacturer Herman Miller. This 2006 design is recognized as an icon of modern lighting design, known for its organic silhouette and advanced LED technology. The lamp is crafted from aluminum and finished in an elegant black color. The construction consists of a slender, articulated arm reminiscent of a leaf, allowing the user to intuitively position the light. The base features a touch-sensitive strip that allows both light intensity and color temperature, from warm to cool light, to be adjusted. This particular piece was produced in December 2006. The overall condition of the lamp is very good, retaining its original finish and functionality. The LED technology is not only energy-efficient but also offers a long lifespan, underscoring the design's sustainability. With its minimalist and sculptural form, the Leaf Personal Light seamlessly fits into a modern office or home office environment. It is a functional lighting object that adds a refined aesthetic to any desk or side table. This legendary design by Yves Béhar is so groundbreaking that it has been included in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York. A functional design classic with the status of a museum piece!
