About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
Beautiful, heavy and solid cast glass object by the French master glass artist Frédéric Morin (1957). This impressive studio glass block is made of layered and fused glass (fused glass plates) and, due to its thickness, has a magnificent depth effect and light refraction. At its core is an intense orange sun disc, resting on a base of cracked silver leaf that beautifully reflects the light. The underside features a dynamic, blue-green wave structure with embedded glass frit and subtle air bubbles (bullage). In accordance with this specific series of cast glass sculptures by Morin, the object is unsigned. The attribution rests entirely on the characteristic technique, material composition, and documented style of the artist.
