Product description
For lovers of truly beautiful vintage design: an original foldable children's desk with a matching chair from the well-known brand Gico Toys from the 1970s. The design is a prime example of the functional and playful design from that period, combined in a compact and foldable piece of Furniture.
The set consists of a chrome-plated metal tubular frame to which both the chair and the desk are attached. The seat and backrest of the chair are upholstered with cognac-colored skai. The desk top is double-sided: one side has a light wood grain finish, while the other side is a green blackboard, complete with the alphabet and numbers. The top can be tilted for a comfortable working or drawing position.
• Tilting tabletop: The top can be used flat for drawing or crafting, or tilted like a real school desk.
• Original blackboard: On the underside of the top is the original, green blackboard. The alphabet, numbers 1 to 0, and the original Gico Toys logo are still in beautifully clear condition.
• Skai upholstery: The cognac-colored faux leather seat and backrest are in excellent condition, shine beautifully, and have no tears or holes.
• Chrome & Caps: The chrome-plated tubular frame is sturdy and shows light vintage signs of use. Unique: all original red rubber floor caps and protectors are still present.
One of the rotary knobs for tilting the top is missing. However, this does not affect the sturdiness and use of the tabletop.
• Dimensions:
Compact and specially designed for toddlers/preschoolers (approx. 2 to 6 years).
Seat height 45 cm, desk height 65 cm.
This iconic set is not only a beautiful eye-catcher in the children's room or living room, but is also incredibly practical. With one simple movement, you can compactly fold the entire desk, including the chair, to save space.
